Winter Division Rules

Kid Division Rules

  1. PeeWee Division
    1. Ages: 5-8 years old 
    2. Motor: Stock 212 Predator Engine 
      1. Out of the box/crate WITH governor in place
      2. No modifications of any kind
      3. Throttle screw is to be restricted at track by track officials. 
      4. Must run GREEN PLATE! (.425 opening) 
        1. The top 3 karts must remain in the tech area to CHECK GREEN PLATES until cleared by tech officials ONLY. If your kart leaves the tech area without permission from the tech officials ONLY you will be DQ’ed from the event.
    3. Fuel: Regular Gas from Antioch Food Mart
      1. The top 3 karts must remain in the tech area to CHECK YOUR FUEL until cleared by tech officials ONLY. If your kart leaves the tech area without permission from the tech officials ONLY you will be DQ’ed from the event.
    4. Clutch/Gear: 16t clutch with 62, 63 or 64 rear gear
    5. Weight:
      1. Minimum: 200 lbs
      2. Maximum 250 lbs
    6. Tires: Open Tires, NO PREP

    1. Ages: 5-7 years old

      1.  Can change Cam, Piston and Flywheel ONLY
      2. No other modifications allowed! Must have screen in place in muffler!
      3.  Must run BLUE plate (.550 opening)
        1. The top 3 karts must remain in the tech area to CHECK BLUE PLATES until cleared by tech officials ONLY. If your kart leaves the tech area without permission from the tech officials ONLY you will be DQ’ed from the event.

    2. Motor:  LO206 Engine Rules Apply. MUST run RED Slide (.440 opening)
    3. Fuel: Regular Gas from Antioch Food Mart
    4. The top 3 karts must remain in the tech area to CHECK YOUR FUEL until cleared by tech officials ONLY. If your kart leaves the tech area without permission from the tech officials ONLY you will be DQ’ed from the event.
    5. Clutch/Gear: Open Clutch and Gear
    6. Minimum Weight: 285 lbs.
    7. Tires: Must run Hoosier D-20 Slick Tires
      1. Front Tires must be Hoosier D-20 11x6.0-6 (600's)
      2. Right Rear tire must be Hoosier D-20 11x8.0-6 (800)
      3. Left Rear tire can be either Hoosier D-20 11x6.0-6 (600) or Hoosier D-20 11x8.0-6 (800)
      4. ABSOLUTELY NO TIRE PREP, CHEMICAL TREATING AND/OR SOAKING/WASHING TIRES ALLOWED!
      5. No heating of the tires or use of a torch on the tires at any time.
      6. No grinding, sanding, grooving or using a wire brush on tires.
      7. NO ALTERATIONS OR MODIFICATIONS OF ANY KIND TO THE TIRES!
      8. Tires will be randomly durometered as well as sampled and tested for, but not limited to, chemical treating, altering and soaking. 
        1. The top 3 karts must remain in the tech area to CHECK YOUR TIRES until cleared by tech officials ONLY. If your kart leaves the tech area without permission from the tech officials ONLY you will be DQ’ed from the event.
    8. Wing size: (20” high, Right board 40” long 14” high. Must be within +/- 2 inches) Measurements include any lip on the side panels. Only 1 bend is allowed. Lips cannot exceed 1 inch.) No more than 1” of dish in the center section. Only ½” wicker allowed on center section. Center section 32” x 35” +/- 2 inches
    9. Floor Pans cannot extend beyond the frame rails and cannot extend past the rear seat mount on the frame.
    10. All Body rules will be subject to track official discretion
    11. RaceCeivers are MANDATORY.
    12. After winning 3 features with more than 5 karts the racer has the option to move up to Beginner Box Stock Division.
  8. Beginner Box Stock Wing Division
    1. Ages: 5-8 years old
    2. Motor:  LO206 Engine Rules Apply. MUST run GREEN Slide (.490 opening)
    3. Fuel: Regular Gas from Antioch Food Mart
      1. The top 3 karts must remain in the tech area to CHECK YOUR FUEL until cleared by tech officials ONLY. If your kart leaves the tech area without permission from the tech officials ONLY you will be DQ’ed from the event.
    4. Clutch/Gear: Open Clutch and Gear
    5. Minimum Weight: 285 lbs.

    5. BUY-OUT RULE:  Competitors finishing in 1st, 2nd or 3rd may BUY OUT the motor of the competitor in front of you for $200.  If a competitor refuses to sell the motor they are DQ'ed from the event.

    Additional Rules and Information:

    • Motor rental will be $25. If you bring a stock motor sealed you will not have to rent a motor. 
    • Motors will be locked in the building when not in use. No one will be allowed access to these motors until the event. 
    • Drivers will draw numbers each week for the motor they will use to compete. We will mark down which number a driver receives each week so they do not get the same motor twice within the season. 
    • Drivers will be required to provide everything they need for the kart to compete. They will need to provide clutch, clutch cover, gears, tires, kart and FUEL. We will not provide anything but the MOTOR. 
    • All rented motors are to stay in the designated area on the grid to be monitored by track officials. It is the drivers responsibility to keep the motor in the grid at all times. If the motor leaves the grid, driver will be DQ’ed from the event. 
    • If you are caught TAMPERING with the rented motor you will be responsible for replacing the motor.
